Delete Your Data

STEP Into The Dungeon  ·  Last updated: May 2026

STEP Into The Dungeon has no accounts and no servers. All game data lives on your device only. There is nothing stored on our end — deletion is entirely in your hands.

What data the app stores

The app stores the following locally on your device only:

  1. Game state — boss progress, player HP, step totals, and weekly history.
  2. Settings — volume preferences and selected player class.

The app reads your step count from Android Health Connect but does not copy or store raw health data. Only a weekly step total derived from that data is kept in local game state.

How to delete your game data

To wipe all locally stored game data:

  1. Open Settings on your Android device.
  2. Go to Apps → STEP Into The Dungeon.
  3. Tap Storage → Clear Data.

Alternatively, uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.

How to revoke Health Connect access

To stop the app from reading your steps, revoke its Health Connect permission:

  1. Open the Health Connect app on your device.
  2. Go to App permissions.
  3. Find STEP Into The Dungeon and tap Remove all permissions.

This does not delete any data — it only prevents the app from reading new step data going forward.
