LEAKSRecurring Expense Tracker
a bill tracker, but it's a boat

Your bills are leaks. Your finances are a boat. Patch them every month or sink.

LEAKS turns your recurring bills into something you actually feel. Every subscription, utility, or regular expense is a leak on your boat. Each month you need to patch them: tap the leak, mark it paid, keep your boat afloat. Miss too many and it sinks.

Building Android & iOS · Coming to Google Play & the App Store

No subscriptions. Your data lives on your device and optionally in a Google Sheet you own.

How the boat works

sounds silly. works anyway.
the boat metaphor

Bills are leaks. You patch them.

Your finances are a boat. Bills are leaks. Patch them every cycle to stay afloat. It actually makes you want to pay on time.

sink or swim

Three misses, then a new voyage.

Miss three leaks cumulatively and your boat sinks. Start fresh with a new voyage and a hard-earned lesson.

the sinking rule

Three misses and you're out.

Every unpatched leak at the end of a cycle counts as a miss. Misses are tallied when the cycle ends, and they add up across your boat's life: if the tally has reached three by then, the boat sinks right there at the end of that cycle. A new voyage starts fresh at the next cycle. It sounds harsh. That's the point.

that's the point.
Ship's log · Voyage 1
  1. Nothing logged yet. Patch some leaks on the boat up top, then hit "End this cycle" and watch what lands here.

When the leaks open

your month doesn't start on the 1st? fine.
your cycle, your rules

Pick the day your month starts.

Define your own billing cycle start day. The app adapts to when your month actually starts.

built-in reminders

A reminder day per bill.

Set a reminder day per bill. On that day, a notification fires and the leak opens up. No missed bills.
